Zoom Integration

Connect Zoom to Supervity, authorize access, and use Zoom data and actions in operators and workflows.

This guide explains how to connect Zoom to Supervity, what data is available after connection, how operators can use Zoom data and actions within workflows, and how to remove the integration when needed.

Overview

The Supervity Zoom integration allows your workspace to securely connect Zoom as a governed platform capability.

Once connected, operators and workflows can use Zoom data and actions to automate business processes, retrieve meeting information, manage meetings and webinars, and coordinate work across systems.

With the Zoom integration, Supervity can:

  • Access meeting information from your Zoom account
  • Retrieve participant and attendance details
  • Access meeting transcripts and recordings
  • Read meeting chat messages and engagement data
  • Access webinar information, polls, and Q&A data
  • Retrieve user and account information
  • Create, update, and delete meetings
  • Create, update, and delete webinars
  • Use Zoom data as context for operators
  • Trigger workflows based on Zoom activity

All Zoom access is governed through Supervity's security, permissions, and audit controls.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Zoom, ensure you have:

  • An active Supervity workspace
  • A Zoom account (Free, Pro, Business, or Enterprise)
  • Permission to authorize Zoom applications on your Zoom account
  • Access to the Zoom account containing the meetings and data you want to use

Depending on your Zoom plan, some data types such as recordings, transcripts, webinar data, or participant reports may require additional Zoom licensing (Pro plan or above recommended).

Step 1: Open Integrations

  1. Log in to Supervity.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click the Integrations icon.

This opens the Integrations page, where all available integrations are listed. Connected integrations and available integrations can both be managed from this page.

Step 2: Select Zoom

  1. Locate Zoom in the available integrations list.
  2. Click Connect.

Step 3: Authorize Access

You will be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.

Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant Supervity access to your Zoom account.

  • Supervity uses Zoom's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.
  • Your Zoom password is never shared with or stored by Supervity.

Step 4: Complete Connection

After authorization, you will be redirected back to Supervity.

The Zoom integration will appear as Connected on the Integrations page. Your workspace can now securely access Zoom capabilities according to the permissions granted.

Managing the Integration

View Connection Status

From the left navigation bar, click the Integrations icon.

For Zoom you can view:

  • Connection status
  • Granted permissions
  • Last usage information
  • Associated workflows and operators

Reconnect Zoom

If Zoom authorization expires:

  1. Open the Integrations page from the left navigation bar.
  2. Select Zoom.
  3. Click Reconnect.
  4. Complete authorization again.

Existing workflows and operators do not need to be recreated.

Removing the Zoom Integration

You can remove the Zoom connection from your Supervity workspace at any time directly from within the Supervity platform.

Steps to Remove

  1. Log in to Supervity.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click the Integrations icon.
  3. Locate and select Zoom from the integrations list.
  4. Click Disconnect.
  5. Confirm the action when prompted.

Implications of Removal

Once removed:

  • Supervity immediately loses all access to your Zoom account and associated data
  • No new Zoom data will be read or processed after removal
  • All active Zoom connections within your Supervity workspace are terminated
  • Scheduled or active workflows that depend on Zoom will stop executing
  • Zoom-dependent workflow steps will fail safely with clear error messages
  • Existing workflow definitions within Supervity are not deleted β€” only the Zoom connection is terminated
  • Historical execution logs remain available for auditing purposes

Disconnecting Zoom does not delete workflow definitions, operators, or previously generated outputs.

How Your Data Is Handled After Removal

Data Handling on Removal:

  • Supervity immediately loses access to your Zoom account upon removal
  • No new Zoom data will be collected or processed after disconnection
  • Temporary files processed during workflow execution are deleted after execution completes
  • Zoom access tokens and all account-related data are permanently deleted from Supervity's platform within 15 minutes of disconnection β€” no background access continues after removal

Deauthorization Handling

When you disconnect Zoom from Supervity, Supervity:

  • Revokes and permanently deletes all stored access tokens and account-related data for your Zoom account within 15 minutes
  • Terminates all active Zoom connections associated with your workspace
  • Stops all scheduled or active workflows that depend on Zoom access
  • Logs the disconnection event for audit and compliance purposes

Auditing & Observability

All Zoom activity performed through Supervity is logged.

Audit records include:

  • Which operator requested access
  • Which workflow executed the action
  • Timestamp of execution
  • Success or failure status
  • Relevant inputs and outputs (redacted when sensitive)

This supports compliance, troubleshooting, governance, and operational visibility.

Accessing Recordings Fails

Likely Cause: The recording may not exist, may have been deleted, or cloud recording may be disabled.

Resolution:

  1. Confirm the meeting was recorded to the cloud.
  2. Check that cloud recording storage has not reached its limit on your Zoom plan.
  3. Verify the recording has not been deleted from Zoom cloud storage.
  4. Ensure cloud recording is enabled in your Zoom account settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is my Zoom password shared with or stored by Supervity?

No. Supervity uses Zoom's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Your Zoom password is never shared with or stored by Supervity. Only scoped access tokens are stored, and these are encrypted at rest using AES-256.

Q: What Zoom plan do I need to use all features?

Basic meeting retrieval and scheduling works with most Zoom plans. Features such as cloud recordings, transcripts, and webinar data require a Zoom Pro plan or above, with the relevant features enabled in your Zoom account settings.

Q: Will I need to reconfigure my workflows after reconnecting Zoom?

No. If you reconnect Zoom due to token expiry or permission changes, existing workflow definitions and operators do not need to be recreated or reconfigured.

Q: What happens to my workflows if I disconnect or remove Zoom?

Workflow definitions are not deleted when Zoom is disconnected or removed. However, any workflow steps that depend on Zoom will fail safely with clear error messages until Zoom is reconnected.

Q: How do I authorize the Supervity Zoom integration?

Log in to Supervity at Supervity, navigate to the Integrations page from the left navigation bar, locate Zoom, and click Connect. You will be redirected to Zoom's authorization page where you can review and approve the requested permissions. After authorization, you will be redirected back to Supervity automatically. See the Adding the Zoom Integration section above for full step-by-step instructions.
